Chief Paterson Thanks the Community
for its Support of the 2020 Polar Bear Plunge

Chief Paterson with Award“Thank you! I am grateful for the support leading up to and during this year’s Polar Bear Plunge. This year, we were once again recognized as the top fundraiser for the event, contributing to more than $2.3 million raised in 2020. It is an honor to give back to Special Olympics New Jersey and everything it stands for. Thank you all again for your generosity. We did it!”

The Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside is a fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics New Jersey, which for over 50 years has provided year-round sports training, competition, leadership opportunities, and health screenings to more than 26,000 athletes. Special Olympics New Jersey is a life-changer for the athletes and their friends, families, and communities.
