Important Information:
New Jersey State law requires that the dog's rabies vaccination must not expire prior to November 1st 2020.
Any vaccination expiring before that date must provide proof of booster before licensing. The Borough has already received proof of rabies vaccinations for those dogs treated at the Free Rabies Clinic held at the Rumson DPW in November.
Dog owners who have not obtained a license by January 31st will be issued a summons by the Rumson Police Department which carries a $10 fine as well as applicable late fees.
If you no longer own a dog, please contact the Borough Clerk’s office at 732-842-3300 so we can remove your information from our system.
