Although the district known as Oceanic encompasses a gridded neighborhood, it was developed piecemeal over a period of time, so the neighborhood is mixed with homes of all different styles, building types, and ages making it difficult to be classified as an Historic District per se. That notwithstanding, the neighborhood does have quite a number of significant homes.
